Start with the bowl. Spray with an antibacterial cleaner and start by spraying under the rim so that the liquid can drip down. Use a toilet brush to scrub scrub scrub.
Shut the lid. Then spray the antibacterial cleaner on the lid, outside toilet bowl area and on top of the cistern. Use a clean, damp micro fibre cloth and wipe all over, including around the back and underneath areas, which don’t show and often get neglected. Use an old toothbrush to get into those hard to reach areas.
Now give the inside of the toilet bowl another scrub and then flush the toilet to rinse.
Now you have your toilet clean, it is worth maintaining. After every use, give your toilet bowl a quick scrub with the toilet brush so the dirt doesn’t build up and a thorough clean once a week when you do your bathroom and rest of the house.
